Grants Program
Through the Office of Cultural Affairs, the City of San Jose offers programs of financial support to ensure a rich variety of arts and cultural opportunities for the community.

Core Cultural Funding Portfolio

The City’s core Cultural Funding Portfolio consists of three annual grants programs that are awarded through a competitive application process:

Guidelines for the upcoming FY 2020-21 Funding Cycle will be available on each grant program page beginning in November 2019 (in Resources section on left side). 


Pre-Application Workshops for FY 2020-2021 Grant Application Cycle
  • Festival, Parade and Celebration Grants (two identical workshops)

  • Operating Grants (two identical workshops)
